The Brigadiers Plantation Retreat is a ‘farm stay’ located at Palwal, Haryana near KGP and KMP within just 60 km or 1:15 hours drive from Delhi or Gurgaon.
The retreat is set inside 87 acres of sprawling farms & plantations making it an experience of a lifetime. With us, one gets to watch, observe, learn & appreciate the agrarian life of rural India and connect with the process of agriculture. The plantation was originally owned by Brigadier Chandan Singh (AVSM), after whom the retreat is today named. Brig. Chandan Singh was aWorld War II veteran, and retired as Director Military Farms. He is mentioned in Guinness Book and in the LimcaBook Of Records as the only officer to command four battalions at the same time.
The farm inherited by his grandsons features colonial style stone bungalows adjoining a boating pond. The 87 acres are covered with Orange, Guava, Indian Gooseberry and Indian Jujube plantations. The farms are adjoiningagroforests and have more than 350 types of plants. The retreat is home and feeding grounds for more than 50 species of birds and many fishes are found in its lake.

The ‘Whispering Bamboos’ restaurant and ‘The Machan’Barbeque place are great options for a ‘Farm To Plate’ meal experience featuring the freshest ingredients. The retreat has many gazebos and sit-outs in the orchards that become venue to many invoking discussions between family and friends during your stay. The food at our retreat is organic and the style of cooking is ‘desi’. We deliberately keep it this way to give you a rustic experience of Braj Bhoomi.
